Replacing Cable on Go Lift System

Replacing the cable in the lift system  can be a bit of a task, as it requires disassembling and then reassembling the entire system. However, it is definitely doable. Based on the photo you provided, it seems that the pod is currently in the down position. To begin the process, you will need to raise the pod, which will cause more cable to be spooled on the winch. This additional cable will cover and reinforce the area that appears to be flayed.

Once you have successfully raised the pod, it's important to set your GO in camping mode. This will ensure that the pod shell lower is securely down. To further enhance the stability of the pod, you should then back the winch off to the point where the bumpers of the pod shell lower make contact with the diamond tread deck. This creates a mechanical stop, effectively preventing the pod from coming down unexpectedly.

By following these steps and taking proper precautions, you can have peace of mind while sleeping in your pod. Rest easy knowing that the cable has been replaced and the mechanical stop is in place to keep the pod in position.

For a visual demonstration of how to lower the pod shell lower to contact the deck, you can refer to the following video:https://21517552.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/21517552/Lowering%20Pod%20Shell%20Lower%20To%20Contact%20Deck.mov.

This will provide you with a clear understanding of the process and help you carry it out successfully.

Remember, if you have any concerns or questions during the cable replacement process, it's always a good idea to consult the manufacturer's instructions or reach out to their support team for further guidance.
